Preparing for massage
Below are a few guidelines which will help you to get the most out of your massage treatment:
- It is advisable not to come for massage on an empty stomach so please factor this in if coming for a late morning or late afternoon treatment. Similarly it is best not to have massage directly after a large meal.
- Please drink plenty of water in the 24 hours after you massage and take as much rest as possible.
- It is advisable that intake of alcohol in the 24 hours before and after your massage session treatment is minimal.
- You will be required to remove the outer layer of your clothes, your modesty will be respected with a towel.
Massage Testimonial Star
"I am the Receptionist Supervisor in a busy A&E Dept. My job can be very stressful. I was experiencing tension in my neck, shoulders and upper back. I knew Claire was a massage therapist and I started seeing her for regular back, neck and shoulder massages. After the second session I could feel the difference it made to my body. I felt more relaxed, the tension had lifted and I had a better sense of wellbeing. It made such a difference to how I coped with my job. I have a family and they know how I look forward to my fortnightly sessions with Claire."
